Per il nostro matrimonio abbiamo scelto i vecchi amici dopo aver fatto una prova e aver mangiato divinamente.. con Fabio poi ci siamo sentiti nei mesi precedenti alle nozze per apportare modifiche, e perfezionare il tutto nei minimi dettaglia. È stato tutto pazzesco, un organizzazione impeccabile, tutto allestito bene e con precisione e un cibo davvero davvero ottimo. Abbiamo ricevuto complimenti da tutti sia per la qualità che la giusta quantità di cibo. Fritto divino e antipasto super, ottimi i primi e un filetto di maiale che si scioglieva in bocca. Davvero la perfezione. Super consigliato -

Deliziosi davvero… a partire da Daniele e Fabio che fin dal nostro primo incontro hanno saputo consigliarci e proporci delle pietanze adatte alle nostre esigenze! genuinità e spontaneità, quella di loro due, che sono stati capaci di riversarle nel loro servizio, il quale ha soddisfatto ogni singolo palato!!! Il nostro intento era accontentare e soddisfare tutti, vista la provenienza della maggior parte degli invitati (sud Italia).. Che dire? Missione compiuta!! Tantissimi i complimenti ricevuti, il cibo era in quantità spropositate e già all’antipasto ad isole e girobraccio, i nostri invitati erano sazi, ma si sono lasciati coccolare via via con tutto il resto del menù!

Fabio e il suo team sono stati fantastici! Il nostro weekend di matrimonio in Toscana è durato 3 giorni e abbiamo utilizzato i servizi di Fabio per tutte e 3 le serate.
La prima sera che abbiamo organizzato il pizza party, non abbiamo noleggiato il furgone della pizza, cosa che mi dispiace, quindi ti consiglio di spendere soldi extra per il furgone, se puoi.
Il cibo per la cena del nostro matrimonio era semplicemente eccezionale, abbiamo ricevuto così tanti commenti anche dagli ospiti! L'ultimo giorno abbiamo organizzato una festa in piscina e abbiamo assunto la tabella dei gelati, il 1000000% lo consiglia, i gelati erano fantastici ed è stata un'aggiunta davvero interessante alla giornata. Il nostro ultimo pasto è stato un pasta party e ci penso ancora un mese dopo, è stata una delle migliori paste che abbia mai mangiato. Non avremmo potuto scegliere un catering migliore dal nostro fine settimana.
Inoltre, Fabio è stato super disponibile durante tutto il percorso fino al matrimonio per qualsiasi domanda avessimo, è stato accomodante ed è stato semplicemente un piacere avere a che fare con lui. Tutto il suo staff era così gentile, professionale e amichevole. Abbiamo avuto anche l'open bar la prima notte di nozze, ottima selezione di cocktail, gli ospiti l'hanno adorato. Niente era mai troppo con Fabio, sono così felice di essermi fidato di lui. Grazie mille a te e al tuo team Fabio!

Fabio and his team were amazing!!!! Our wedding weekend in Tuscany happened over 3 days and we used Fabio's services for all 3 evenings.
The first night we had the pizza party, we didn't hire the pizza van which I regret so I recommend spending the extra money for the van if you can.
The food for our wedding dinner was simply outstanding, we got so many guests commenting on it too! On the last day we had a pool party and hired the gelato chart, 1000000% recommend this, the gelatos tasted amazing and it was such a cool addition to the day. Our last meal was a pasta party and I still think about it a month later, it was some of the best pastas I've ever had. Couldn't have picked a better caterer from our weekend.
Fabio was also super available all the way up to the wedding with any questions we had, he was accommodating and just a pleasure to deal with. His staff were all so so kind, professional and friendly. We also had the open bar on the wedding night, great selection of cocktails, the guests loved it. Nothing was ever too much with Fabio, I'm so glad I trusted him. Thanks a million to you and your team Fabio! -

Oh! Da dove cominciare? !
La nostra esperienza con fabio e i vecchi amici è iniziata nel giugno 2022 quando ci siamo recati al ristorante con lo scopo di fare una degustazione in vista di sposarci in toscana l'anno successivo e selezionare un catering. Appena arrivati al ristorante siamo stati accolti in modo molto ospitale! Ci aspettavamo di assaggiare solo alcuni piatti selezionati, ma ci hanno davvero steso il tappeto rosso e ci hanno permesso di assaggiare così tante cose diverse: l'esperienza è stata incredibile e non dimenticheremo mai. Inutile dire che siamo partiti con la pancia davvero piena! La bistecca fiorentina ci ha davvero impressionato. Ilaria ci ha fornito un servizio eccellente! Abbiamo lasciato il ristorante sapendo che volevamo che i vecchi amici si occupassero del catering del nostro matrimonio.
Fabio è stato estremamente reattivo e paziente nel rispondere a tutte le nostre domande prima di firmare il contratto. Menzionerò anche che fabio è rimasto disponibile e reattivo fino al giorno del nostro matrimonio. Il suo inglese è eccellente, il che ha reso la comunicazione molto semplice: )
Qualche giorno prima del matrimonio siamo tornati a i vecchi amici per cenare. Ancora una volta hanno davvero steso il tappeto rosso per noi, il cibo era incredibile proprio come lo ricordavamo l'anno prima. Abbiamo anche avuto l'opportunità di incontrare fabio e rivedere la logistica per il giorno del matrimonio, il che è stato rassicurante e ci ha messo a nostro agio. Ciò che ci è davvero piaciuto del lavorare con fabio è stato il fatto che fosse uno sportello unico, non solo si occupava del catering ma si prendeva cura anche dei tavoli, delle sedie, delle posate, dei piatti, della biancheria, ecc. A seconda del pacchetto selezionato ha una varietà di opzioni tra cui scegliere, quindi ce n'è per tutti i gusti!
Oh! Oh! Oh! Siamo rimasti sinceramente senza parole. Vale la pena ricordare che il nostro cocktail e la nostra cena avrebbero dovuto essere fuori e quando il cocktail avrebbe dovuto iniziare ha iniziato a piovere, costringendoci a spostarci all'interno. Ciò significava che il personale del catering doveva spostare tutto in casa perché pioveva, non la cosa più piacevole da fare: erano bagnati e ci sentivamo malissimo per questa svolta degli eventi. Nonostante ciò, l'intero staff è stato molto professionale e ha continuato a sorridere nonostante il tempo e il caos che ciò ha portato. Non siamo sicuri che nessun’altra società di catering avrebbe agito allo stesso modo.
Eravamo anche determinati a cenare fuori, quindi abbiamo aspettato che passasse la pioggia, questo ha ritardato la nostra cena di 2 ore. Fabio è stato così flessibile ed è stato in grado di adattarsi nonostante la situazione impegnativa e ha organizzato una cena assolutamente incredibile. Onestamente non potevamo crederci: lui e il suo staff hanno realizzato qualcosa di molto speciale per noi e saremo per sempre grati per la loro professionalità e per averci permesso di goderci un pasto davvero memorabile e delizioso. La varietà e la qualità del cibo durante il cocktail erano incredibili: alcuni dei nostri amici pensavano che questa fosse l'intera cena. Inutile dire che con i vecchi amici i vostri ospiti non patiranno la fame. Tutti i nostri ospiti hanno continuato a complimentarsi per il cibo nei giorni successivi al nostro matrimonio: le verdure fritte, i ravioli e la bistecca erano i preferiti dai fan! La mia famiglia è una severa critica gastronomica, ma nessuno ha avuto una sola cosa negativa da dire.
Non rimarrai deluso se scegli questa squadra per soddisfare il tuo evento. Non solo il cibo è incredibile, ma sono laboriosi e professionali e faranno in modo che il tuo evento sia memorabile per tutti. Personalmente non vediamo l'ora di tornare in italia e visitare i vecchi amici in futuro.
In sintesi, lo consiglio vivamente: supereranno le vostre aspettative! Sicuramente meritevole di 5 stelle, ne darei 6 se potessi! Renderanno senza dubbio il tuo evento memorabile.

Wow! Where to even start? !
Our experience with fabio and i vecchi amici started in june 2022 when we went to the restaurant for the purpose of doing a tasting in anticipation of getting married in tuscany the following year and selecting a caterer. As soon as we arrived at the restaurant we were welcomed very hospitably! We were expecting to taste only a select few dishes but they really rolled out the red carpet for us and allowed us to taste so many different things- the experience was incredible and one we will never forget. Needless to say we left with very full stomachs! The bistecca fiorentina really made a lasting impression on us. Ilaria provided us with excellent service! We left the restaurant knowing that we wanted i vecchi amici to caterer our wedding.
Fabio was extremely responsive and patient in responding to all our questions before we signed the contract. I will also mention that fabio remained available and responsive up until our wedding day. His english is excellent which made communication very easy: )
A few days before the wedding we went back to i vecchi amici to eat dinner. Once again they really rolled out the red carpet for us, the food was just as incredible as we had remembered it the year prior. We also had the opportunity to meet with fabio and review logistics for the day of the wedding which was reassuring and put our minds at ease. What we really liked about working with fabio was that it was a 1 stop shop, not only did he take care of the catering but he also took care of the tables, chairs, cutlery, plates, linens etc. Depending on the package you select he’s got a variety of options to choose from so there is something for all tastes!
Now to speak about the main event- the actual wedding which happened in june 2023.
Wow! Wow! Wow! We were honestly left speechless. It’s worth mentioning that our cocktail and dinner were supposed to be outside and as cocktail was supposed to begin it started raining which forced us to move inside. This meant the catering staff had to move everything indoors as it was raining, not the most pleasant thing to do- they were being soaked and we felt horrible at this turn of events. Despite this the entire staff was so professional and kept smiling despite the weather and the chaos this brought. We aren’t sure any other catering company would have acted in the same way.
We were also determined to have our dinner outside so waited until the rain to pass- this delayed our dinner by 2 hours. Fabio was so flexible and was able to adapt despite how challenging a situation this was and pulled off an absolutely incredible dinner. We honestly couldn’t believe it- him and his staff pulled off something very special for us and we will forever be grateful for their professionalism and for allowing us to enjoy a truly memorable and delicious meal. The variety and quality of the food during the cocktail was incredible- some of our friends thought this was the entire dinner. Needless to say your guests will not go hungry with i vecchi amici. All of ours guests kept complimenting the food in the days following our wedding- the fried vegetables, the ravioli and bistecca were fan favourites! My family are tough food critics but no one had a single bad thing to say.
You won’t be disappointed if you choose this team to cater your event. Not only is the food incredible but they are hardworking and professional and will ensure your event is a memorable one for everyone. We are personally looking forward to going back to italy and visit i vecchi amici in the future.
In summary, i highly recommend- they will exceed your expectations! Definitely 5 star worthy, i’d give them 6 if i could! They will without a doubt make your event memorable.

È stato un vero piacere lavorare con Fabio e il suo staff. Li ho avuti per 3 cene diverse per il mio weekend di matrimonio e ogni cena era deliziosa. La prima sera ha organizzato una piccola cena barbecue solo per la mia famiglia nella nostra villa (Villa Cini) con pollo arrosto, salsicce, manzo e insalate. La seconda sera ha organizzato una cena di benvenuto "pizza party" per tutti i miei invitati al matrimonio che includeva un autentico forno per pizza su ruote dove la pizza veniva preparata in loco e il gelato veniva servito per dessert da un simpatico carrello del gelato. La terza notte ha organizzato per noi un bellissimo aperitivo e cena per il ricevimento di nozze. L'aperitivo aveva deliziose carni, formaggi, insalate, crostini toscani e verdure leggermente fritte. Il tutto servito su piatti che potrebbero contenere un bicchiere di vino. Il pranzo di nozze è stato il migliore con 2 portate di pasta (gnudi con ricotta + tartufo fresco; ravioli ripieni di manzo Chianini), due opzioni per piatto principale (spigola o bistecca alla fiorentina) e infine per dessert una tradizionale torta nuziale millefoglie. Tutto era delizioso e tutti i miei ospiti hanno adorato il cibo.
Tutte le cene sono state servite su splendidi lunghi tavoli di legno in stile toscano. Tutto il personale era così cordiale ed educato. La comunicazione con Fabio è stata molto semplice poiché ha risposto rapidamente tramite e-mail e persino chat video la settimana prima del mio matrimonio mentre stavo pianificando il mio matrimonio dagli Stati Uniti. Ha reso il catering del mio matrimonio un processo senza stress. Consiglio vivamente lui e il suo staff.

It was such a pleasure working with Fabio and his staff. I used them for 3 different dinners for my wedding weekend and every dinner was delicious. The first night he arranged a small BBQ dinner just for my family at our villa (Villa Cini) with roasted chicken, sausages, beef, and salads. The second night he arranged a “pizza party” welcome dinner for all my wedding guests that included an authentic pizza oven on wheels where the pizza was made on site and gelato was served for dessert from a cute gelato cart. The third night he arranged a beautiful wedding reception aperitif and dinner for us. The aperitif had delicious meats, cheeses, salads, Tuscan crostini, and lightly fried vegetables. All served on plates that could hold a wine glass. The wedding dinner was the best with 2 courses of pasta (gnudi with ricotta cheese + fresh truffles; ravioli filled with Chianini beef), two options for main course (Seabass or Florentine steak), and lastly for dessert a traditional millefoglie wedding cake. Everything was delicious and all my guests loved the food.
All dinners were served on beautiful long Tuscan style wooden tables. All staff were so friendly and polite. Communication with Fabio was very easy as he responds quickly via email and even video chat the week before my wedding as I was planning my wedding from the US. He made catering my wedding a stress free process. I recommend him and his staff very highly.

Fabio e il suo team hanno fornito cibo e bevande al nostro matrimonio da sogno di due giorni. Dopo le bevande e gli spuntini alla festa in piscina, abbiamo cenato con la pizza. Le pizze erano preparate nell'Ape, il che dava un'atmosfera extra divertente. Noi e i nostri ospiti stiamo ancora parlando di quanto fossero deliziose le pizze. Il giorno successivo, durante l'aperitivo, sono stati serviti tutti i tipi di piatti della tradizione. C'erano anche piatti molto utili per questo in modo da poter tenere le bevande con te e continuare a mangiare. Molto importante. Su nostra richiesta, tutti i piatti erano vegetariani durante il nostro matrimonio. Era delizioso, abbiamo ricevuto molti commenti positivi dai nostri ospiti, soprattutto che non gli mancava la carne. Durante la festa, abbiamo gustato deliziosi cocktail e uno spuntino di mezzanotte. Il team è stato molto amichevole e professionale. La preparazione e il coordinamento del menu sono andati molto bene via e-mail. Un anno dopo, abbiamo visitato l'Italia per assaggiarlo. Abbiamo trascorso una serata molto bella e provato un sacco di cose deliziose. C'erano più piatti preparati, di quelli che avevamo concordato, in questo modo abbiamo potuto assaporare bene le differenze e fare nuovamente una scelta. Italian dream wedding
Fabio and his team provided the food and drinks at our two-day dream wedding. After the drinks and snacks at the pool party, we had the pizza dinner. The pizzas were prepared in the ape, which gave an extra fun atmosphere. We and our guests are still talking about how delicious the pizzas were. The next day during the aperitivo, all kinds of traditional dishes were served. There were also very handy plates for this so that you could keep drinks with you and still eat. Very important. At our request, all dishes were vegetarian during our wedding. It was delicious, we received many positive comments from our guests, especially that they did not miss meat. During the party, we enjoyed delicious cocktails and a midnight snack. The team was very friendly and professional. The preparation and coordination on the menu all went very smoothly by e-mail. A year later, we visited Italy to taste it. We had a very nice evening and tried lots of delicious things. There were more dishes made, than we had agreed on, this way we could taste the differences well and make a choice again.
