Everything about our wedding experience was amazing. My husband and I are from the US and were not able to visit the venue before the wedding. Sara met multiple times with us over video and gave us a tour of the property.
Up until we arrived, she would text us on WhatsApp and email us everything we needed to agree on.
Our wedding was smaller, 15 people.
They had arranged for a shuttle to bring all of our guests from the train station. For the bride and groom, we stayed in a local airbnb near the venue and Sara personally came and got us from the small city center in her car.
From the moment we got there, everything was handled. Sara and the owner gave us a tour around and made sure we loved where the ceremony would be held.
For the next few days we enjoyed time by the pool with our guests, breakfasts, lunches, an amazing pizza dinner, a great intimate ceremony and the best wedding banquet and cake cutting!
There were many meal options to choose from ahead of time. The chef was amazing. We got to thank him personally.
All of the wait staff were very friendly and patient.
Everyone went above and beyond for us and we are so grateful. We want to come back for an anniversary one day!
Last, Sara recommended Maria, the florist who made a beautiful display. Everyone thought the flowers were very unique.

Ci siamo sposati alla SPSLA lo scorso fine settimana e siamo ancora completamente emozionati… Tutto è stato ancora più bello di quanto avessimo immaginato o pianificato, e onestamente, non sappiamo nemmeno da dove cominciare.
Dal primo momento in cui abbiamo incontrato Sara, abbiamo capito di essere in mani incredibilmente professionali ed esperte. Quello che non sapevamo allora era quanto Sara, Diego e l’intero team ci avrebbero fatto sentire come a casa, quasi come se fosse stato l’unico matrimonio che avevano preparato tutto l’anno.
L’attenzione ai dettagli, la cura autentica per noi e i nostri ospiti, e il modo in cui sembravano avere un occhio su ogni cosa è difficile da mettere in parole. Organizzano così tanti matrimoni ogni anno, eppure in qualche modo hanno reso il nostro completamente unico e profondamente personale. Fino all’ultimo momento, ci siamo sentiti meno clienti e più famiglia.
E Sara merita un paragrafo tutto suo. ❤️ Lo stress organizzativo semplicemente scompariva ogni volta che lei era lì. Il giorno del matrimonio, vedere lei immediatamente abbassava il mio livello di stress. Ogni volta che iniziavo a perdere la calma, potevo scriverle o chiamarla e in qualche modo tutto sembrava di nuovo gestibile. Mio marito dice che Sara è una delle principali ragioni per cui sono riuscita davvero a lasciarmi andare, a godermi il nostro matrimonio e a essere presente in esso. Credo che abbia assolutamente ragione. Sara, sei semplicemente la migliore.
Abbiamo anche avuto Piero come nostro maître e lo abbiamo adorato. Lui e tutto il team si sono presi cura di noi e dei nostri ospiti con tanta calore, gentilezza e professionalità.
E poi, naturalmente, c’è la location stessa: MOZZAFIATO. Ammetto di essere di parte perché adoro l’Umbria e la SPSLA, ma i nostri ospiti continuano a mandarci messaggi dicendoci quanto hanno amato il matrimonio, il luogo e l’intera esperienza.
Grazie, davvero, per averci regalato qualcosa di ancora più bello di quello che avevamo immaginato. Torneremo sicuramente per gli anniversari, e Sara, Diego, Piero e tutto il team avranno un posto nel nostro cuore per molto, molto tempo.

From the very first moment we met Sara, we knew we were in incredibly professional and experienced hands. What we did not know then was just how much Sara, Diego and the entire team would make us feel at home, almost as if ours were the only wedding they had been preparing for all year.
The attention to detail, the genuine care for us and our guests, and the way they seemed to have an eye on absolutely everything is difficult to put into words. They organise so many weddings every year, and yet somehow they made ours feel completely unique and deeply personal. Until the very last moment, we felt less like clients and more like family.
And Sara deserves a paragraph of her own. ❤️ All the organisational stress simply disappeared whenever she was there. On the wedding day, just seeing her immediately lowered my stress level. Whenever I started freaking out, I could message or call her and somehow everything felt manageable again. My husband says that Sara is one of the main reasons I was actually able to let go, enjoy our wedding and truly be present in it. I think he is absolutely right. Sara, you are simply the best.
We also had Piero as our maître and absolutely loved him. He and the whole team cared for us and our guests with so much warmth, kindness and professionalism.
And then, of course, there is the location itself: BREATHTAKING. I am admittedly biased because I adore Umbria and SPSLA, but our guests are still sending us messages telling us how much they loved the wedding, the place and the entire experience.
Thank you, truly, for giving us something even more beautiful than the wedding we had imagined. We will absolutely be back for anniversaries, and Sara, Diego, Piero and the entire team will have a place in our hearts for a very, very long time.

Avevamo in programma di visitare varie location per il nostro matrimonio, ma quando siamo arrivati qui non c’è stato bisogno di andare avanti con i sopralluoghi: eravamo sicuri che questo fosse il posto perfetto. Se cercate una location elegante e autentica, priva di quell’estetica opulenta, pacchiana e ridondante, questa è la scelta giusta. Il roseto è sicuramente lo spazio che ci ha colpito di più: non servono addobbi speciali perché è già incredibilmente suggestivo e raffinato. L’edicola/cappelletta sconsacrata incorniciata dai cipressi è veramente un angolo incantevole e raccolto per celebrare il matrimonio (civile o simbolico). Comunque la location è molto grande e propone diversi ambienti per organizzare la cerimonia e il ricevimento, non è obbligatorio svolgere la celebrazione nel roseto. Noi ci siamo affidati alla wedding manager della location, Sara, che ci ha seguiti dal primo incontro al giorno del matrimonio pensando a tutti gli aspetti organizzativi e venendo incontro alle esigenze degli invitati. Ci siamo sentiti ascoltati e coccolati! Vi assicuro che durante il giorno del matrimonio è stato tutto organizzato in maniera talmente perfetta che non ci sono stati tempi morti o brutte sorprese: tutta la giornata ha avuto un ritmo vivace e gli ospiti non si sono annoiati un attimo! La location offre il servizio di catering per il banchetto e devo dire che sia noi che gli invitati siamo rimasti impressionati dalla qualità del servizio, dalla ricchezza del buffet degli antipasti e dalla qualità del menù offerto per la cena vera e propria. Durante la progettazione dell’evento pensavamo di ottenere un buon risultato, ma le aspettative sono state ampiamente superate dall’esperienza vissuta. Consigliato a tutte le coppie che vogliono organizzare il proprio matrimonio senza stress e problemi, ma soprattutto, consigliato a chi preferisce l’autenticità e il fascino discreto di un luogo antico! Insuperabile!

Abbiamo scelto San Pietro sopra le acque per il nostro matrimonio il 4 luglio 2025 ed è stato semplicemente perfetto.
Location incantevole, curata in ogni minimo dettaglio. Abbiamo cenato sul prato sotto le luci e le stelle, creando un’atmosfera davvero magica. Cibo di qualità altissima, tutti gli ospiti sono rimasti entusiasti sia per la cucina che per la bellezza del posto.
Un ringraziamento speciale a Sara, che è stata eccezionale dal primo incontro fino al giorno del matrimonio: sempre disponibile, precisa e attenta a tutto.
La chiesetta dell’abbazia è un vero gioiello: intima, accogliente, perfetta per di creare un clima di pace e raccoglimento unico.

Dalla nostra prima riunione con Sara, abbiamo sentito che c'era qualcosa di speciale in questa location e i nostri istinti si sono rivelati assolutamente giusti. Come coppia dagli Stati Uniti, abbiamo pianificato il nostro matrimonio completamente da remoto, il che all'inizio era un concetto molto stressante. Tuttavia, Sara ha reso l'intero processo così facile e senza problemi, dall'inizio alla fine. È stata così comunicativa e attenta a tutti gli aspetti del nostro evento di tre giorni, dal metterci in contatto con i migliori fornitori locali al fare raccomandazioni per le nostre scelte di cena quando non potevamo visitare di persona per la degustazione.
Dal momento in cui abbiamo messo piede sulla proprietà, è stato tutto bello come avevamo sognato. Vivere in Irlanda, abbiamo sempre sognato di sposarci in Italia—e dal momento in cui abbiamo scoperto San Pietro Sopra Le Acque, abbiamo capito di aver trovato il luogo perfetto. Dopo una videochiamata con Sara, che gentilmente ci ha mostrato la location, ci siamo innamorati all’istante. Anche attraverso lo schermo, il fascino e la bellezza della venue sono emersi chiaramente. Dall’inizio alla fine, l’intero processo di pianificazione è stato impeccabile. Sara è stata semplicemente incredibile—paziente, calorosa e infinitamente disponibile. Io e mio marito ci siamo sposati presso San Pietro Sopra Le Acque il 7 Luglio 2024, approfittando di elementi che ritenevamo essenziali nella scelta della location: la possibilità di sposarci con rito religioso in loco presso la chiesa di cui è dotata la struttura, la nostra vicinanza e quella dei nostri invitati (essendo quasi tutti della zona) e lo svolgimento del ricevimento nell'area del parco. Il nostro giorno è stato esattamente come l'avevamo immaginato, tanto che spesso i nostri amici ci tengono a ricordarlo come uno dei matrimoni più felici a cui abbiano preso parte (probabilmente siamo di parte anche noi nel descriverlo così!). Il tempo inizialmente sembrava non assisterci, ristabilendosi solo poco prima dello svolgimento della cerimonia e per questo non smetterò mai di ringraziare tutto il personale che si è prodigato (nonostante i tempi ormai stretti) per permetterci di svolgere il ricevimento all'aperto come desideravamo. Non avremmo potuto chiedere un'esperienza più meravigliosa! Dall'inizio alla fine, il team di questa location è stato fantastico — incredibilmente gentile, disponibile e sinceramente impegnato a rendere il nostro giorno speciale. Ogni dettaglio è stato curato con attenzione e professionalità, e hanno fatto di tutto per assicurarsi che tutto andasse liscio.
La location stessa è mozzafiato — il perfetto equilibrio tra eleganza e fascino, con viste splendide che hanno reso le foto indimenticabili. I nostri ospiti continuano a parlare di quanto fosse meraviglioso!
