Behind the Chianti hills, on a slope overlooking the Valdarno, stands Podere La Specola.

The venue you choose for your wedding will play a leading role throughout the entire day: it will frame your most intense emotions, in that elegant and refined atmosphere you have perhaps always dreamed of.

The estate is set within a small hamlet made up of three buildings of very ancient origin. Over the centuries it has been home to illustrious figures: it was the property and residence of Marsilio Ficino (1433–1499), philosopher, humanist, astrologer and tutor to the Medici family. Today, thanks to a careful and refined restoration, the complex preserves its original structure intact.

Spaces and capacity

With its distinctive fourteenth-century architecture, Podere La Specola offers striking, character-filled spaces, perfect for banquets and receptions. The extensive park of roughly 5 hectares and the outdoor pool area lend themselves beautifully to aperitifs and open-air toasts with your guests.
